    neat!!!!!

I know some people in Portland.

I bought the DVD set from the LA DIYDays and they were great … but not a great as being there would have been.

How do you decide what city to have a DIYDays in? I’d like to propose Austin. Either the day before or after the Austin Film Festival or SxSW. That way people could easily attend both and there are more filmmakers in town than usuall.

I’d be happy to help set it up, find a venue, sponsors, etc.

The AFF conference this year is October 22-25 with films showing until the 29th. They put much more emphasis on screenwriting. I kind of like it better because it’s smaller. I met more screenwriters and filmmakers too.

For SxSW I suggest the day before because the the size of the music festival fills the town up and chaos reigns.
    SXSW Interactive: March 12–16, 2010
    SXSW Film: March 12–20, 2010
    SXSW Music: March 17–21, 2010

    Peace,

  4. I am arriving from NY tomorrow on the Chinese Bus. The first bus available leaves at 7am and arrives at 9am in Philadelphia. Then I have to get there from the bus station. I just want to be assured that I will be able to get in.

    Thank you,

    Reid Rosefelt
