Cinema Speakeasy Presents ‘Show and Tell‘ at DIY Days LA – We want your work!
Remember when you got up in front of your first grade class clutching at your pet baby turtle? How you held it up in front of your buddies and happily told everyone how you especially liked its slimy green toes? Yeah, we’ve all evolved a bit since then… but evolution means sophistication, and boy are we excited to see what innovative, beautiful stuff you guys have been creating.
DIY DAYS is teaming up with California-based Cinema Speakeasy for a very special grown-up show-and-tell session – all centering around your newest project.
We’ve been scouring the streets, galleries, theaters and video game houses of L.A. for the most promising new work, but we want to see more. So, if you have something to show, are L.A.-based, and are cool speaking in front of a crowd and getting some feedback, then send it our way for potential inclusion.
Email heythere@cinemaspeakeasy.com with a few lines about yourself, a few lines about your project, and a link or two for us to look at. Show and tell slots will be between 7 and 20 minutes, as needed.
Film, games, music, software, immersion, animation… If you can screen it, show it, or perform it, we want to have a look.

DIY DAYS is a roving gathering for those who create. Past stops have included Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and Philadelphia. FREE to participants and organized by volunteers – DIY DAYS is about the accessibility of ideas, resources and networking that can enable creators to fund, create, distribute and sustain.
