Adam Chapnickis a new-model film distribution specialist known for flipping Hollywood convention on its ear by employing a mix of grassroots, online and digital distribution strategies. He has overseen the theatrical, home video and grassroots distribution of dozens of documentaries since 2002. He co-founded Cinema Libre Distribution, where, during his tenure as President, he distributed over 20 independent films, including Franny Armstrong’s McLibel, Danny Schechter’s WMD: Weapons of Mass Deception, and Robert Greenwald’s Uncovered: The War On Iraq and Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism. Adam Chapnick oversees Film and New Media at IndieGoGo, where he also serves as CEO of Distribber.com, a new-model flat-fee distribution service that places independent films on digital delivery platforms like iTunes.
