I’m excited about the book that I just co-wrotet with Sheri Candler and The Film Collaborative Selling Your Film Without Selling Your Soul. I’m very excited about the two new books that I am working on: one concerns the concept of the PMD or Producer of Marketing and Distribution. The second book essentially take the concept of Think Outside the Box Office and relates it to all the art forms/media creation – film, theater, books, games, photography, music, art etc. All the arts are converging in how they connect with audiences, yet most don’t know what other artists are doing that they could apply to their work – hence the book.

Hope for Film blog
I’ve been affected by a few live events recently:
Got a chance to see Tich Nhat Hanh – a Buddhist monk and teacher – blew me away – reading some of his books. This summer I was blown away by “Sleep No More” an immersive theater production in NYC. On the lighter side – I got see a film noir water ballet in Baltimore “Mobtown Murder Mystery”
I’m reading a lot of historical biographies, just finished long tomes on Washington, Jefferson and Franklin. Fascinating to see that the frustrating dynamics of contemporary American politics were going on at inception.
