The music industry will never be the same again. The days of record advances and label supported tours are all but gone. Recorded music has lost much of its value due to the ease of sharing digital files. But as the industry struggles to maintain its’ control with the adoption of 360 degree deals which give them a take of licensing, touring, merchandise and music sales – many musicians are foregoing traditional deals and forging direct relationships with their audiences.
